ArduMower Sunray App
Sunray App is the companion for your Ardumower RTK DIY (Do-It-Yourself) robotic mower system. It allows you to manually steer your Ardumower, to setup your virtual perimeter (working boundary) and exclusion areas, to calculate the mowing pathes with many options and to monitor your mower during the mowing process.

Simultaneous Localization and Mapping ( SLAM )
Navigation, obstacle detection and route planning are the main tasks for self-driving robots.
owlRobotics has developed a SLAM solution to localize and navigate a robot with high precision of less then 2cm. We use GPS-RTK or LIDAR as sensor or both. For a combination with GPS-RTK and LIDAR we have a solution to match both outcome into one map. With this process we can match the advantage of both sensors and isolate the weak points of the sensors.
In the picture you can see the LIDAR point cloud (colored pixels) and the GPS track (white line).
As result, we have the relative distance from the LIDAR and the absolute GPS position in one map and can calculate a GPS position for all points in the map.
